Fishing regulations



Only vehicles from the fisherman's lodge or at BIWY stations are authorized to circulate on the fishing causeway during the day from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. (avoid unnecessary travel, otherwise park at the entrance to the estate).

It is strictly forbidden to fish from another post or on the dike.

Fishing is strictly NO-KILL .

Fishing with lures and live bait is STRICTLY prohibited.

Predator fishing prohibited .

Radio-controlled boats are permitted, as well as bait-rocket baiting and the use of a personal boat with an electric motor is permitted.

Wearing a personal life jacket is mandatory in a boat or on the water.

The use of the Domaine's boat is strictly for professional purposes, its use is therefore prohibited to tenants and visitors.

Only one hook per line. Barbless hooks are required, maximum size no. 2, as well as the anti-tangle sheath.

Braided leaders and main lines are strictly prohibited, as are nylons of less than 30/100 or more than 40/100. Lead-core is prohibited. Only rigs that allow easy release of the lead in the event of breakage are permitted; a rod will be reassembled during the session for verification.

Any handling of fish between the lake and the mat must be done with the weighing bag and not in the arms. Fish weighing more than 20 kg must be handled in the water for photography.

Obligation to use the equipment provided upon your arrival in order to avoid any illness (weighing bag, reception mat and landing net)

Seeds are prohibited.
Only boilies, pellets and toasted seeds sold in our store and natural products without additives or preservatives are permitted.

The catches must be handled with care, kept moist at all times and returned to the water quickly in the best possible conditions.

Only one person in the photo per fish (the fisherman only).

All fish must be released immediately , after a quick photo shoot on your knees, where the fish and the mat will be moistened. Storage bags (even floating ones) are STRICTLY prohibited under penalty of exclusion.

Obligation to have and use a special fish disinfectant , to be applied to the hook sting and any possible wound.

It is strictly forbidden to mark or mutilate fish.

An angler must always remain in the immediate vicinity of the rods when they are stretched.

Swimming is strictly prohibited

Minors must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times.

Pets must be kept on a leash outside the fence and must remain under constant supervision of the owners within the grounds. Please pick up after them.

No refund, postponement or credit will be made in the event of early departure.

The management reserves the right to immediately exclude the fisher from the site, without reimbursement, in the event of obvious drunkenness or consumption of narcotics.

It is strictly forbidden to relieve yourself around the estate.

To protect the environment: do not damage vegetation. Do not light fires on the ground (gas camping and above-ground BBQs are permitted). Avoid being noisy. Place your rubbish in the bins provided for this purpose. Do not throw your cigarette butts on the ground; the site must be clean and without rubbish bags when you leave or the deposit will be retained.

Recycling: Recycling is an easy, everyday way to preserve natural resources and prevent pollution. We provide several containers (glass, plastic, and household waste) to make your life easier.
Our lodgings are equipped with individual septic tanks to ensure their proper functioning. It is strictly forbidden to throw the following products down the toilet:

• Bleach
• Solvents
• Antibiotics
• Tampons and sanitary napkins

A deposit of €300 per gîte and a deposit of €200 for fishing equipment not cashed will be requested upon arrival and returned upon departure.
